At work is a book by photographer Helge Hansen and Bjørn Sortland. The book is a portrait of pianist Leif Ove Andsnes created over the course of three years. A candid and unsentimental portrait of an artist told through his own words. 

  • Helge Hansen (1968) began his career as a photographer in the 1990s and initially worked mainly in the press with clients such as Norsk Telegrambyrå, Dagens Næringsliv and Bergens Tidende. Hansen has also made a name for himself in industrial photography with clients such as Hydro and Equinor. He has worked for a number of theater stages, concert halls and dance ensembles alongside work in wine and food. Hansen has contributed to a number of wine and travel books and won gold in the European Cook Book Award for Wine Travel in Europe in 2010.

  • Bjørn Sortland (1968) is a writer and professor of writing at NBI in Oslo. He is educated at the Skrivekunst academy in Bergen, and made his debut in 1992. He has published 74 book titles in many genres for adults, children and young people. He has also written for theatre, radio plays, film and animation. Sortland is published in 28 countries, including the USA, Germany, Austria, Canada, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Russia, Poland, Ukraine and China, and all Scandinavian countries.
