This Privacy Policy was updated on 19 August 2022. Montag AS focuses on safeguarding and protecting our customers' privacy. We process personal data in accordance with the legislation in force at all times, including in accordance with the Personal Data Act and the Personal Data Regulations. Personal data is all information and assessments about an identified or identifiable natural person (personal protection regulation article 4 no. 1). Typical personal data are name, address, telephone number, e-mail and social security number. This privacy policy describes what personal data we receive and collect when you order and use services from Montag, as well as what we do to protect the personal data. You should familiarize yourself with the contents of this privacy policy. By ordering and using our services, you consent to us processing personal data in accordance with this privacy policy and the framework set by the legislation in force at all times.

1. Data controller
Montag is responsible for the processing of personal data in connection with all services provided by Montag. By controller is meant the person who, alone or together with others, determines the purpose of the processing of the personal data in question and the means by which the data is to be processed (personal protection regulation article 4 no. 7). The data controller is the person who has the overall responsibility for ensuring that the personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation.

2. Our use of personal data
Registration and collection of personal data Montag processes the personal data you provide when you register with us and information that you otherwise voluntarily provide, for example information about name, address, e-mail address, mobile number and account number/card number. In addition, Montag continuously collects and processes information about your customer relationship with us, for example information about which goods you buy.

3. Compilation of personal data
Montag reserves the right to use the compiled information to adapt our offers and marketing inquiries to our customers.

4. In particular about the use of personal data in connection with marketing
We use personal data to provide you with information about goods that you may be interested in. If you are or have been a customer, under the terms of the service you may have agreed to receive electronic communications as a customer. Montag can then send you inquiries based on the consent you gave in that regard. Montag also uses other digital communication channels for marketing to customers. This marketing is carried out in accordance with the legislation currently in force. If you do not wish to receive such inquiries, you can opt out of this at any time free of charge. If you are not or have been a customer, we will use electronic marketing, for example sending newsletters, if you have explicitly agreed to receive such marketing inquiries.

5. Storage and storage of personal data
We store personal data in accordance with current legislation and at all times have measures in place to ensure the requirements for confidentiality, availability and integrity. Your personal data will only be stored for as long as Montag has a factual need for this, and under any circumstances no longer than what follows from the legislation in force at any given time. When Montag no longer has a factual need to store personal data, the data will be deleted or anonymised.

8. Revision of this privacy policy
We can change this privacy policy if: The processing of personal data changes, or Revision is deemed necessary due to a change in laws or regulations issued pursuant to law.
